Double wall plate heat exchanger for Food & pharmaceutical
In food and pharmaceutical production, the plate heat exchanger safeguards product safety: mixing of the process medium and the heat transfer fluid is ruled out by design, while the unit stays sized for straightforward cleaning.
Two separately pressed plates sit in contact per heat transfer surface and are welded together only at the port openings. The open gap between the plates makes a leaking plate visible from the outside immediately.

The first choice whenever mixing of the two media must be ruled out by design - for system separation in domestic hot water or in food and pharmaceutical applications. Pressure and temperature range are tighter than for the welded design. The EPDM gaskets are matched to the medium of this application.
