Convective heat transfer coefficient (alpha)

Characterises convective heat exchange at the fluid-wall interface, expressed in W/(m^2*K). It depends on flow velocity, fluid properties, and plate geometry, and together with the wall resistance determines the overall heat transfer coefficient k.
