Heat duty (thermal power)

The rate of heat transfer, expressed in watts (W) or kilowatts (kW). It is calculated as Q_dot = m_dot * cp * dt, where m_dot is the mass flow rate, cp the specific heat capacity, and dt the temperature difference of the medium.
